A community driven network for Artists, Employers and Collaborators
Game Artists Global is a young community centered all around the topic of Game Art in the sense of visual art for games and playful media.
We are hoping to provide a trustful community environment and help connect independent creatives working in the field of game art as well as professionals looking for artists to collaborate with either on a voluntary basis or within paid business relationships.

We felt it was important to create a skill-based community for visual artists working in games since the independent scene usually relies on crossover communities for game development, creative work and gaming alike.
With a mix of interests like that and great variety in hobbiest/professional intent, there is often no room for serious discussions among those striving for professional collaborations, nor is there the possibility for indepth peer discussions. So we want to address this issue and try a different approach.
Since we started out as a local german group and only slowly got to the global scale our members are currently consisting of creatives mostly from Germany and Europe, but this should not hold you back from joining us from anywhere!
We are open to everybody with a serious interest in learning, practicing and collaborating within the field of game art.
Our industry focus clearly lies within the independent scene (freelancing artists, small devs, startups) since these rather scattered groups especially need quality networking options and are usually not as well represented on high tier industry platforms as already established professionals.
If you come and join us with a serious approach you will help shape an independent network and create opportunities for small and upcoming creatives.
